Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has told Arsenal that they need to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk if they wish to continue competing with Manchester City.
The Gunners currently find themselves seven points clear of City in the Premier League after the Blues dropped two points against Everton at the weekend. Arsenal can extend their advantage further on Tuesday night when they face Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium.
However, despite their strong campaign so far, Carragher believes that Arsenal need to sign the talented 21-year-old if they wish to be regularly competitive against Pep Guardiola's side. The 44-year-old told Sky Sports : "The player they're after, Mudryk, when I've seen him play in the Champions League he's played left wing.
