And he took it, slotting in alongside Raphael Varane comfortably. The Reds star dominated at the back for France, winning all of his aerial duels and managing not to get dribbled past once. And after another outstanding performance, Jamie Carragher was among several Liverpool fans calling for the Frenchman's place in Sunday's final.
