Everton provided a huge boost to their survival hopes on Monday evening when they hammered Brighton & Hove Albion 5-1 at the Amex Stadium.
The Blues had been tipped by most to lose to the high-flying Seagulls on the south coast. But they put in a fantastic performance to lift themselves two points clear of the Premier League's bottom three.
With three games remaining, Sean Dyche's side are still in the thick of the relegation battle. And it gets no easier on Sunday when they welcome league leaders Manchester City to Goodison Park.

Former Liverpool defender - and boyhood Blue - Jamie Carragher - spoke on Monday Night Football about the relegation fight. And the Sky Sports pundit "doesn't see" Everton going down.
Carragher said: "There's huge pressure now on Leicester and Leeds. I think if Everton and Forest get one more win they're okay because Leicester and Leeds would need five points from three games. These are teams on really poor runs.
"I really fear for Leicester. I think it might be over for them by the time they get to West Ham at home on the final day. They've got Liverpool at home and Newcastle away - I'm not quite sure how Leicester will get out of that. I don't see Everton going down now, though."
Meanwhile, West Ham United striker Michail Antonio has warned the Blues against complacency as they get set to face Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bournemouth after Man City.
Antonio told the Footballer’s Football Podcast: "Southampton are as good as gone. Leeds have Newcastle, West Ham and Tottenham. Leicester have Liverpool, Newcastle, West Ham. Forest have Chelsea, Arsenal and Palace. I feel all of them have difficult games. Even Everton: City, Wolves and Bournemouth.
“Everton probably have the easiest run in because Wolves and Bournemouth are basically safe, and Everton are fighting for their lives so they will give that little bit extra. But only thing I would say about teams being safe is that sometimes they play better football. Because the team is more relaxed.
“There is free rein, free flowing, no pressure. Everyone becomes professional footballers because there’s no pressure. So as much as Wolves and Bournemouth are safe, it could go either way.”
Former Everton striker Kevin Campbell believes the Blues will 'stay up' if Dominic Calvert-Lewin is able to stay fit for the remainder of the season. Campbell said: "He's going to be key. If he stays fit until the end of the season, Everton will stay up."
