Jamie Carragher has responded to Liam Gallagher after the former Oasis man took aim at the Liverpool great on social media.
Speaking on Twitter after Man City’s dramatic title victory, Gallagher took aim at Carragher. City recovered from 2-0 down to claim the title at the Etihad.
A brace from Ilkay Gundogan - and a Rodri strike - cancelled out goals from Matty Cash and Philippe Coutinho. Liverpool also claimed three points after coming from behind to beat Wolves at Anfield.

Goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson secured Jurgen Klopp’s side a 3-1 win - but City claimed the title by a point on the final day.
Gallagher was quick to revel in the victory on Twitter, posting a serious of boasts and bizarre comments, including an initial message which read: "And now I’m gonna cancel my subscription of scousesports as there the most biased ****s in the world MCFC CHAMPIONS GOODBYE LG x"
Liam also fired a jibe at Carragher, saying: “What you saying carra you [emoji] end.”
However, Carra wasn’t taking Gallagher’s dig lying down, and responded by claiming City will never win the Champions League and The Beatles are better than Oasis.
He said: “I’m saying you’ll never win the Champions league & Oasis are s***e compared to the Beatles. That work??”
Speaking earlier this month, Gallagher hit out at Carragher on social media after the Sky Sports pundit claimed a club can’t be called a 'giant' unless they have lifted the Champions League.
"The Champions League is the biggest trophy you could win,” the former Liverpool defender said in the Sky Sports studio after City's 5-0 win over Newcastle United.
“How many leagues are in Europe....five teams every year will win that league. Only one team can win the Champions League, only one.
"You’re not seen as a giant club until you’ve won the Champions League. It’s a fact. In terms of City owners and Guardiola, to put them up there as a super club, you have to win a Champions League. You have too."
Gallagher replied on Twitter saying: "Carra talking absolute turd."
Carragher later fired back with: "I’m sure a man of your talents can work that lyric into the new album!"
