Rangers skipper James Tavernier is one of THREE Ibrox stars to land a spot in the club's Hall of Fame.
Veteran pair Allan McGregor and Steven Davis joined the captain in landing a spot in the prestigious group with the trio becoming the first inductions since 2014. All three have been recognised for their contribution and commitment to the club as part of a gala dinner at the New Edmiston House complex last night.
The Hall of Fame hangs above the grand marble staircase in the Ibrox main stand and the three current first-team stars will now have their names added to the list. It was formed in 1999 with club legends Sandy Jardine and John Greg helping set it up alongside a committee with an agreement that FIVE criteria would be considered for potential inductees. The list includes length of service, total number of appearances, honours once while playing for Rangers, international caps won while turning out for the Ibrox outfit and any exceptional abilities displayed during their time in Govan.

Speaking to Rangers TV, Tavernier said: "This is an absolute huge honour. It's still not really sunk in. I have been playing it down but it is such a special moment for myself and I couldn't have been doing what I do without the people who have been supporting me all the way
"That's my family, the people at the training ground and the fans. It's a special moment.
"It's a moment I will never forget. I am lost for words for how monumental it is. To see my name on the wall on the marble stairs and share that with the family is so special."
Veteran No1 Allan McGregor added: "I said this on the stage. I am not one for individual awards but this one means the world to me. To have your name on that marble staircase forever is a special moment for me and I am absolutely honoured and privileged."
He continued: "A wee bit nervous and excited but just the names up there and being part of that is just something really special for me. It's a club that I love and to walk up that marble staircase and see my name there is definitely something I'll treasure forever."
