James Tavernier has been labelled a 'goal machine' as the Rangers captain prepares for the new season in the scorching Dubai sun.
The skipper has been a standout player in the Gers side during recent seasons, and that was no different last term despite his side ending up without any silverware.
Michael Beale is undertaking a major squad rebuild with the club as he looks to mount a fresh title challenge against Celtic and the returning Brendan Rodgers, but the Englishman can be expected at the heart of the new side.
And as part of his preparations, Tavernier has headed out to the desert of Dubai for a training camp ahead of pre-season with the coaching team at Elite Sports Performance.
Several stars have been in attendance for their guidance, including Newcastle United's Anthony Gordon, England Women's skipper Leah Williamson, West Ham's European trophy-winning captain Declan Rice, and fellow Ger Ryan Jack.
All the praises were sung for Tavernier, as they wrote: "Great to have the @rangersfc captain back in the desert with us @elitesportsperformance_dxb this off season as he prepares for the new @spflofficial season.
"We look forward to seeing another big season from this goal machine and hopefully getting his hands on some more silverware!"

Rangers will be looking to break Celtic's dominance in the new season after their rivals hit the highs of Treble success, as well as securing their place back in the Champions League group stages.
