James Tarkowski has told Everton supporters they can expect a repeat of the performance they witnessed against Arsenal when his side face Liverpool tomorrow night.
Tarkowski scored the only goal of the game last weekend as Everton started life under new manager Sean Dyche with a huge 1-0 win over Arsenal at Goodison Park. The victory was the Blues’ first since October.
Dyche replaced the sacked Frank Lampard last month and immediately hit the ground running as he aims to move the Blues away from relegation trouble. They currently find themselves inside the bottom three.

Next up is a trip across Stanley Park to take on Liverpool at Anfield and Tarkowski believes the mentality of his boss means that the Everton will apply themselves in the exact same way as they did against Mikel Arteta’s side last time out.
“What a fixture to go and play in at Anfield so we look forward to it,” said the centre-back, who joined the club from Burnley in the summer.
“We'll have a tough week of work before that, there's a fair few days before we play again so heads down, work hard and we'll look forward to that game.”
Tarkowski continued: “To be fair to the manager he doesn't care who we play, he'll play exactly the same.
“We want to be hard to beat, get the ball forward, get people in and around [the box]. We've got energy all through the team which you saw against Arsenal. We'll go there and we'll look forward to it because it's great game to play.”
The Blues endured a dreadful end to the transfer window with numerous attempts to strengthen their squad coming to nothing. No new players arrived during the month, while Anthony Gordon was sold to Newcastle United for a fee that could rise to £45m.
The club’s failure to bring in fresh faces led to angry fans gathering outside the club’s Finch Farm training ground the night the window closed. And while Tarkowski admits he expected signings to be made, he believes supporters shouldn’t lose sight of the talent that is already in the Everton dressing room.
“I think they expected new faces but I look at the people in that dressing room and we've got a good squad there,” he said. “It's easy to say we should go out and sign loads of players but the players we've got in this dressing room can easily perform in this league.”
One man who joined the club in the summer was Amadou Onana and after a slow start to life at Goodison, the midfielder has excelled since the Premier League returned after a break for the World Cup.
“He's been terrific and he needs to keep building on that because he's still young,” Tarkowski replied when asked about his team-mate. “He's got a lot of potential, he can go as far as he wants to really.”
