Bohemians goalkeeper James Talbot has been drafted into the Ireland squad as cover for Mark Travers.
Travers picked up a ‘minor strain’ in training ahead of Saturday’s friendly clash with Belgium and has returned to Bournemouth.
Talbot, 24, is uncapped but also replaced Travers - when he was ill - last September for the World Cup qualifiers against Portugal, Azerbaijan and Serbia.
The Gypsies No 1 was first called into an Ireland squad by Mick McCarthy for European qualifiers against Denmark and Gibraltar in 2019.
QPR defender Jimmy Dunne has also been called in today by Ireland boss Stephen Kenny as a replacement for injured Blackburn Rovers skipper Darragh Lenihan.
