James McClean helped Wigan to a point against Blackburn Rovers on Monday night as he started for the Latics just hours after the birth of his baby daughter.
The Republic of Ireland star played the full 90 minutes at Ewood Park as Shaun Maloney watched Wigan play out a 0-0 draw in his first game as manager of the club.
McClean, who picked up a yellow card in the dying minutes of the game, lined out for Wigan hours after his wife Erin gave birth to the couple's fourth child.
