Leicester City midfielder James Maddison hailed Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka after his impressive performance in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon.
Tasked with keeping a close eye on Brighton star Kaoru Mitoma, Wan-Bissaka dealt with the threat of the Japan international with ease. He kept the Seagulls ace at arm's length up until being taken off and replaced by Tyrell Malacia in the 11th minute of extra time.
Wan-Bissaka, who joined United from Crystal Palace back in 2019, is widely considered one of the best one-vs-one full-backs in world football, despite his attacking game, certainly as a modern-day full-back, often being criticised. Nevertheless, he has moved ahead of Diogo Dalot in the pecking order to start at right-back and his performance at Wembley highlighted why.
