Wexford have pulled off a coup by snapping up in-demand midfielder Kian Corbally.
The 19-year-old midfielder spent time over the winter at Newport County and Millwall, and also attracted interest from Barnsley, Colchester and one Serie B side.
It is thought his relationship with new Wexford boss James Keddy was key to his decision to stay at home until at least the summer.
He was on-loan at Longford Town last year when three-time Premier Division winner Keddy was assistant manager at the midlands outfit.
There were offers on the table for the former St Patrick’s Athletic teenager from Premier Division sides.
However, he opted last night to put pen to paper at First Division Wexford.
Corbally, an Ireland underage international, became St. Pats’ youngest ever goalscorer at the age of 15 when he netted in the Leinster Senior Cup semi-final against Sheriff in 2019.
