Everton have confirmed the signing of James Garner from Manchester United.
The Blues have added the young midfielder to their ranks, after agreeing a deal with the Red Devils. Garner becomes Everton’s eighth signing of the summer, following Amadou Onana, Dwight McNeil, Conor Coady, James Tarkowski, Ruben Vinagre, Neal Maupay and Idrissa Gana Gueye.
Garner has signed a four-year contract with the Blues after arriving for an undisclosed fee. A deal that could eventually reach around £15m is thought to have been agreed. The 21-year-old will hope to be involved for Everton’s next match against Liverpool this weekend.
