James Corden has been hit out at again by previous colleagues, with one saying he has "dug his grave".
The actor and comedian, 44, has been facing claims over his behaviour on and off-set and was recently called the "most difficult and obnoxious presenter" to work with by a director of A League of Their Own.
Producer Craig Duncan, who directed an episode of the Sky show that Corden hosted, said: "The most difficult and obnoxious presenter I've ever worked with is James Corden."
Now, Corden is facing more claims from a staff member of The Late Late Show.
"James dug his grave and he can cry all he wants, but he did this to himself," the source claims.
"His staff stood behind him for so long, but it got very old. His ego was over the top and he truly believed he was untouchable."
They added to the Mail Online : "It’s not sad. It is karma. Many people left his shows because he did not treat people the way that they deserved to be treated."
James starred on the sporting panel show from 2010 up until 2019 before heading to the US for the Late Late Show gig.
His American success came largely to his popular Carpool Karaokes which saw him drive around with superstars like Adele, Michelle Obama and Paul McCartney.
Corden even bagged a spot with royalty by attending Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding and even took on the Duke's first interview following his dramatic exit from Royal life.
Yet things took a turn for the Gavin and Stacey star when he was accused of "yelling like crazy" after his wife received an omelette with "a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk".
He addressed the incident on The Late Late Show, saying: "My wife explained that she has a serious food allergy. The meals came, my wife was given the food that she was allergic to...her meal came wrong to the table the third time."
After apologising for the way he handled things at Balthazar, the host received a round of applause from the audience - but staff at the restaurant still weren't pleased.
A source said the comedian shouldn't have ordered an omelette if his wife had an egg allergy, insisting that James was "very, very rude".
"I'm sorry but that is bulls**t,' one server said.
Balthazar's owner Keith McNally initially banned James from his restaurant. However, after his appearance on The Late Late Show, he took to Twitter saying he'd welcome the Fat Friends star back.
Producer Craig worked with James on one episode from season seven of the hit programme, where he directed a pre-recorded Masterchef style challenge.
Now, he has branded the presenter "difficult" to work with following their interactions on set.
At the rehearsal, Craig claims James took issue with a script he had to read and branded the joke as "s**t" before asking it to be rewritten.
"It came to a point where he had to read from a card. It was kind of a joke in there, and he just looked at it like, 'That's not funny, that's not funny. It's s**t, we have to rewrite that'," Craig added.
"I don't know, maybe he was having a bad day or the writing's not up to scratch, but I definitely thought, 'man somebody wrote that, not nice to do that'.
"But television isn't for the faint-hearted and sometimes you have to take those knocks on the chin."
The Mirror has contacted James Corden's representatives for comment.
