James Bulger's murder will be debated in Parliament, his dad has revealed.
In 2018, more than 200,000 people signed a petition calling for a public inquiry into the killing. The bid, which was backed by James’ mum Denise Fergus, was rejected by Theresa May's government.
But James' killing is back in the political limelight and set to be discussed by MPs in the near future, The Mirror reports. Two-year-old James from Kirkby was abducted and brutally killed by Jon Venables and Robert Thompson, both aged 10, almost 30 years ago.
