After weeks of wondering, Rhino was finally unmasked on Saturday night's final of The Masked Singer. Armchair detectives had narrowed their identity on the zany ITV guessing game down to either boyband star Charlie Simpson from the punk pop band Busted, or fellow hitmaker James Arthur.
Fans were cheering and swooning as heartthrob Charlie, 37, was revealed as the singer hiding beneath the costume of 2023 The Masked Singer winner Rhino. But one viewer Cal_Lewis_7 joked: "Charlie Simpson is going to take his own head off to reveal James Arthur #TheMaskedSinger."
Others called for a duet including @VanessaJ2Inspmy said: "I need to hear Charlie Simpson and James Arthur collaborate." Even popstar Gabrielle, who duetted with Charlie earlier in the show, guessed that she was probably singing with James.

On Saturday night James took to Twitter to respond to people thinking he was Rhino. "F*** me I can’t wait till everybody stops blowing my phone up every Saturday thinking I’m on telly singing dressed as a rhino," he wrote.
@dazman007 asked with a laughing emoji: "Is this a double bluff?" @georgeymac joked: "TAKE IT OFF." And @juliery87844756 told him: "On the upside...prospective fans checking you out."
"Next year James?" asked Gemma Deakin. @Laurechicot23 told him: "At least you’re trending every week." And Mark Tibbles joked: "James, you’ve got to have a thick skin in your business."
James, 34, won the ninth series of The X Factor in 2012. His debut single, a cover of Shontelle's Impossible, was released by Syco Music after the final, and debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart. His hits also include the moving ballad Say You Won't Let Go.
