Senegal faces Holland in the third game of the FIFA World Cup on Monday afternoon at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.
This match rounds out the first round of games in Group A, with Ecuador beating hosts Qatar in the opening game on Sunday afternoon.
From a Chelsea perspective, two prominent names of interest feature for Senegal. Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly both started Chelsea's last Premier League game at Newcastle and retain their spots for Aliou Cisse after their triumph at AFCON earlier this year. Neither have enjoyed great starts at Stamford Bridge this term, with Koulibaly joining his compatriot in London after making a £34m switch from Napoli back in July.

Both have questions regarding their own form, with Mendy losing his first spot to Kepa Arrizabalaga after Graham Potter was appointed in September. Koulibaly has enjoyed mixed fortunes adapting to life in England. He looked assured in some games but flustered in others. A response will be needed for their nation to get out of Group A.
On the Dutch side, Chelsea might still be eyeing a duo who were linked over the past summer. Frenkie De Jong and Denzel Dumfries have both been of interest in recent windows and both start in Monday's game. De Jong was the centre of a summer-long saga involving Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona's financial situation. Whilst Dumfries has been touted as a potential right-sided option from Inter Milan as cover for Reece James.
Both deals got close and moved beyond mere speculation, but that does not rule out interest being rekindled, given Barcelona's struggles and concerns over adequate cover for James.
The match kicks off at 4 PM UK Time and is being broadcast on ITV.
