Jamal Murray couldn't help himself when he heard the chants from Nuggets fans late in the 119–107 season-opening victory over the Lakers.
After first hearing the “Who’s your daddy?” chants come from the crowd, Murray, who was leaning on the scorer’s table, gave a bit of a shocked reaction before laughing and pointing to coach Michael Malone.
"This is you," Murray laughed. "This is your fault."

As you can see, Malone and Murray high-fived as the two laughed it off while the chant continued to get louder.
The chant from the crowd stems from Nuggets broadcaster Vic Lombardi, who stated that Malone “came into this world as the son of a coach, but in these playoffs, he became the Lakers’ daddy” during the team's championship parade this past offseason.
Murray had another strong showing against the Lakers, scoring 21 points with six assists on 8-of-13 shooting from the field in the season-opening victory.
