The undercard for Jake Paul’s huge boxing bout with Mike Tyson has been hit by a last-minute cancellation.
Paul is set to meet former world heavyweight champion Tyson at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas after their initial meeting planned for July was pushed back when ‘Iron Mike’ suffered a health scare.
It promises to be a huge night of boxing in Texas, albeit some of the sport’s pursuit will likely be tuning in for the blockbuster rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano instead.
Further down the card, however, there has been an enforced change.
Canadian lightweight Lucas Bahdi (17-0, 5KOs) was set to face the American Corey Marksman, though the latter has been forced to pull out due to injury just ten days before the event.
In Marksman’s place, Italian fighter Armando “La Furia del Quadraro” Casamonica (14-0, 3KOs) has stepped up to answer the call.
