The medical suspensions for Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva are in and one fighter has been handed an indefinite suspension after scoring a brutal knockout.
Anthony Hannah, who fought Eliezer Silva in the opening bout of the night, was knocked out in the second round of their super-welterweight bout. Silva, a sparring partner of former UFC legend Anderson, slipped a punch from Hannah and landed a perfect left hook followed by a right hand to drop his opponent, leaving him face-first on the canvas.
Hannah was able to get back to his feet but was on wobbly legs as the referee gave him a ten-count, with the fight being waved off. Despite Hannah suffering his third consecutive knockout loss, Silva was the fighter handed an indefinite suspension as he won his professional debut on the night whilst Hannah was suspended for 30 days.

Other fighters to be suspended at the event were Braulio Rodriguez, who was handed a 60-day suspension after being knocked out in just 61-seconds by Paul's Most Valuable Promotions prospect Ashton Sylve.
Edgar Ortiz Jr was given a 45-day suspension after his one-sided defeat to Danny Barrios whilst Ogleidis Suarez was also handed a 30-day suspension after retiring on her stool against Shadasia Green.
Quinton Sumpter was knocked out by undefeated heavyweight prospect Jeremiah Milton, with the former being given a 30-day suspension. Antonio Nieves was the last fighter to be medically suspended after his stoppage loss to Alejandro Santiago.
All other fighters on the card, such as Paul and Silva, were not suspended by the Arizona Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts Commission. Paul's decision win against Silva marked his first of the calendar year and the YouTuber-turned-boxer is hopeful of competing again in the first few months of 2023.

"Sometime next year, probably the first or second quarter of next year. I'd be down, we can make something happen. I've had such a long time off, I've been training this whole year but the point of this sport is to go in and actually fight. So I'm down to stay active.
"I don't know [who will be next], I need to talk to Nakisa. I'm going to figure it out though. I need to have a discussion about who is available and what the word on the street has been, I'm sure he's been talking to people so we'll see," Paul told MMA Fighting.
