Jake Paul has been told to face someone his own size after making a call-out to face Conor McGregor in a one-fight UFC deal.
The YouTube star is making a name for himself in combat sports having won his five professional fights in the boxing ring.
He has frequently aimed jibes at UFC superstar McGregor to try and entice him into a huge fight, and has now offered the promotions' president Dana White a deal to face him in the octagon.
However fans have disagreed with Paul's recent pursuit of McGregor, with one fan commenting: "Fight a real boxer. One in your weight class. No clauses, no falls.. this just like wrestling in the 90s. LOL entertaining BS!"
Another agreed: "Why is he trying to fight smaller guys?"
A fan proposed he fight a boxer with natural background in the ring, writing: "Why doesn't Jake Paul fight a boxer? In his weight class and age group?? So tired of America making stupid people famous."
One fan has advised McGregor to avoid Paul: "Best thing Conor could do is ignore him and never give him that pay day.
"Only killers in a professional boxing ring like Canelo, Beterbiev or Bivol should offer to fight him from here on in. If he doesn't fight them there’s no fights left for him."
Another agreed: "Why doesn't he fight his brother? He is a similar size."
A final fan proposed he fight Jon Jones in the UFC: "Fight someone who actually wins fights and is your size... fight Jon Jones."
Paul has previously fought at the cruiserweight limit in the boxing ring and has also fought former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley twice.
McGregor currently weighs around 190lbs and is plotting a return to the UFC at either 170lbs or 155lbs with offers on the table in both divisions.
With the Irishman's recent weight increase, it would appear to close the weight gap between the pair for a potential showdown to be staged.

The 33-year-old has finally responded to Paul on social media branding him a "jackass" after the YouTube star criticised footage released of his return to boxing training.
Paul later proposed to UFC kingpin White that he would sign to a one-fight deal in the UFC to face McGregor, in exchange for the acceptance of his previous fighter pay and healthcare proposal.
He later released a video mocking McGregor for his recent posts with alcohol on social media, claiming to be training hard for a switch to UFC.
The YouTube star previously stated that he would need six-months to train but has vowed to knock him out in a proposal that benefits everyone.
He told ESPN : "Fighting Conor is what I want most, but would fight [Jorge] Masvidal as well. I know it might seem impossible to beat these guys in MMA, but when you believe, you can achieve anything. I would ask for six months to train.
"There are no losers in this proposal."
