Jake Paul suggests he has broken up with girlfriend Julia Rose in deleted tweet

Jake Paul has deleted a tweet which suggested he and girlfriend Julia Rose have split up.

YouTube star turned boxer Paul has been dating model Julia for more than two years and has previously hinted that the pair were engaged to be married.

But Paul tweeted on Thursday: "Alexa play "I'm single" by Jake Paul ", a nod to the voice service which can play music tracks on demand.

The 25-year-old quickly deleted the tweet, however, and neither he nor Julia have commented further.

Julia has been a constant by Jake's side as he embarked on his boxing career, with his record now sitting at 5-0.

Last August, she changed her handle on social media to Julia Rose Paul, prompting speculation that the pair had tied the knot.

And earlier this year, Paul told fans in Los Angeles that Julia was pregnant, seemingly in a bid to convince them to leave the couple along.

Before he fought Tyron Woodley for the first time last August, Paul said he and Julia were taking their relationship seriously.

"We're taking thing 10x more serious," Paul said during that appearance. "This is the best we've ever felt in our relationship.

"I want to have a family with her - I need to lock her down.

"She's running around LA, s*** as f***, every guy wants to get with her and I'll put a whole house on her finger so everyone can f*** off."

Paul is taking a break from the ring to promote stablemate Amanda Serrano's blockbuster fight with Katie Taylor in April.

Who should Jake Paul fight next? Let us know in the comments section below

He is expected to return in August or September but has yet to settle on an opponent.

Tommy Fury, who pulled out of his proposed fight with Paul last December, is one option, as is former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Fury told Sky Sports this week : “I’m not really waiting around for him, he knows I’m ready to fight at all times. I’ve put that out there countless times and I’m not the issue here – if the man wanted the fight, we’d have a rescheduled date by now,” Fury said.

“The ball is in his court and I’m ready to fight whenever. I would like to see it happen at the end of the year, I know Frank [Warren] is still trying to reach out [to] him and I do think the fight is still there because he’s not daft.

“Who else is he going to fight? He’s got nobody else to fight. This fight is the biggest fight for him to take at the minute and he knows that full well. But I’m looking to get a run-out on Tyson’s undercard and we’ll see that fight up at the back end of the year.
