Jake Paul's next fight date has been accidentally leaked as August 13 by trainer BJ Flores who also tagged Eddie Hearn's broadcaster DAZN on social media.
The YouTube star confirmed his plans to return to the ring in August for his sixth professional fight after defeating Tyron Woodley in a rematch back in December. Several opponents have been on the short-list for the clash which include UFC legends Michael Bisping and Anderson Silva.
Paul's trainer Flores appears to have accidentally leaked Paul's planned date to return to the ring after posting on Instagram with the caption: "#TEAMWORK Big things in 2022. August 13." He also tagged Hearn's broadcaster DAZN on the post along with Paul's own promotional label Most Valuable Promotions.
The post has since been deleted and re-posted without DAZN Boxing being tagged on the post, with the August 13 date also removed from the caption. Flores has been guiding Paul's training throughout his five-fight career and holds a close working relationship with the rising star.
Paul has called out a number of names since his last victory which include Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor in addition to holding talks with rugby star Sonny Bill Williams. Matchroom Boxing promoter Hearn previously promoted his professional debut against fellow YouTuber AnEson Gib.
Hearn and Paul have now been promoting Katie Taylor's meeting with Amanda Serrano together and the promoter offered his entire stable to the YouTube star if he wanted to take a fight. "Anybody, any weight under 10-0?" Hearn asked. "I've got about 400 of them. Cheavon Clarke is 1-0, he boxed in the Olympics, didn't medal, he's just had one professional fight. He's a cruiserweight, you can have him. I'll be careful with the price, I've got fighters for you. Any time, I hope you do [move up the ranks]."

Paul later fired back: "I already said, I'm down. We're betting a million dollars [on Taylor vs Serrano] and I'm taking on anyone on your roster with under ten fights. That's right now, too. Give me a couple of years, bro, I'm coming for your boy Canelo [Alvarez]. That's one of the biggest fights in boxing that can be made."
The YouTube star has not yet fought a boxer with a natural background in the sport despite confirming his future plans to become world champion. Several high-profile fights could be around the corner for Paul, who plans to end his career with victory over pound-for-pound king Alvarez who has been defeated just once.
Hearn believes Paul will never become world champion but is impressed by his dedication to boxing. “I think there’s absolutely no way he can beat a world champion and become world champion,” Hearn continued during a media scrum. “I will say he’s improving a lot, he’s dedicated to the sport. I don’t how good he is because he hasn’t faced a real fighter yet. It’s not his fault, he signed to fight Tommy Fury.”
