Jake Paul has demanded KSI "gives back" after he was forced to apologise for using a racial slur in a YouTube video.
YouTube star KSI has returned to the world of boxing and is keen to settle his scores with bitter rival Paul this year, which has seen the pair already reach a winner-takes-all agreement to fight on social media. KSI will first take on professional fighter Joe Fournier in London on May 13.
However there has been a significant distraction from that outing with KSI forced to apologise for a slur used in the latest instalment of Sidemen Sunday 'Countdown Challenge 2'. He said when struggling to solve a puzzle of words: "We need points and I don't mean this maliciously, but the word is P***."
KSI issued an apology on his social media shortly afterwards confirming he meant no malice by using the slur, but Paul took the opportunity to rub salt into the wounds of his rival. He tweeted: "Fake guy with fake apologies every other week. I hope you take this more serious than taking a break from social media so you can focus on training, and then reappearing two weeks before your fight saying you’re a new man.
"Meet with British South Asian community leaders, get with the right charities and give back. I made my own mistakes in my early 20s but we are too old for this behaviour. I look forward to knocking you the fuck out on behalf of all South Asians around the world. You 30-year-old p***k."
KSI tweeted an official statement just hours after the slur was pointed out by angered fans online, which read: "There’s no excuse, no matter the circumstances, I shouldn’t have said it and I’m sorry. I’ve always said to my audience that they shouldn’t worship me or put me on a pedestal because I’m human.

"I'm not perfect, I’m gonna mess up in life, and lately I’ve been messing up a lot. So I’ve decided I’m gonna just take a break from social media for a while."
For now KSI will be focused on his boxing return which takes place next month, as he looks to set up a potential future meeting with Paul. It was expected that KSI would be next in line to take on Paul, but after the American's defeat to Tommy Fury he could instead face his native counterpart after Fury's father John confirmed talks.
