Jake Paul has made a new offer to fight Tommy Fury in the UK - but for a QUARTER of his original purse.
Fury was set to make $2million to face Paul at Madison Square Garden in New York on August 6, but had to pull out of a second fight date with the YouTuber due to travel issues. He expressed his disappointment in a statement yesterday, after initially informing fans of his inability to make last week's press conference in a video message.
And now Paul has offered one last lifeline, telling Fury he will travel to the UK and face him, as long as the Brit accepts a $500,000 purse for the bout. This would be their third attempt at making the fight, and would be done in a quick turnaround from the fight expected to be announced between Paul and Hasim Rahman Jr.
"I’m confident you are a scared little boy who doesn’t want to fight or understand business," Paul told Fury in response to his statement. "I will pay you $500K to fight me in the UK. I will do it shortly after August 6. You accept?"
Fury is not currently allowed to enter America due to a visa issue. His brother Tyson, the world heavyweight champion, and dad John are also banned, but for reasons unrelated to the Love Island star.
The Brit pleaded with Paul to again rearrange the fight yesterday, after initially pulling out of their December 18 date in Florida with a rib injury. He stated that he would face the American anywhere but America, and would be ready by August 6.
"I'm gutted and disappointed in regards to the issues I have faced with entry into the USA," he wrote. "This is something that myself or my team could never have anticipated happening. This situation has been left with my lawyers as being denied entry into a country is obviously a very serious issue and it needs to be subsequently resolved.

"I am confident this fight will happen when this issue gets resolved and we come to a solution. I want to clarify that I will fight in a neutral country that both parties can enter. This can be any time, any place, anywhere."
Paul and Fury's rivalry began early last year on social media, and elevated when the Brit, 8-0 as a professional boxer, was invited to compete on the undercard of his rival's first fight with Tyron Woodley. Fury took care of Paul's sparring partner Anthony Taylor before agreeing to face him in December, but Woodley was drafted in for a rematch instead after the rib injury ruled him out.
The pair have been offered a spot on Paul's YouTube nemesis KSI's fight card August 27, which takes place at The O2 arena in London. KSI will face Alex Wassabi on the debut of Misfits Boxing, which is a DAZN PPV event.
It may seem far-fetched to get Paul to turn around on three weeks' notice, but perhaps the idea is not as out there as it seems at first glance. Elsewhere on that same card, rapper Blueface is expected to fight for the second time in less than a month when he faces Faze Temperrr just four weeks after his LA bout with basketball star Nick Young at Social Gloves 2.
