Jake Paul has been told to stop copying Conor McGregor after posting snaps of his training for his fight with Tommy Fury.
The YouTube star is currently in Saudi Arabia as he prepares to take on long-term rival Fury in the Middle East on February 26. Paul yesterday attended a press conference to promote their showdown, but the ex-Love Island star failed to show leaving the 'Problem Child' to complete media duties on his own.
Paul posted a series of videos from the venue including one which criticised Fury for his no-show at the press event. And he has since attracted further attention after documenting the early stages of his training routine while out on foreign soil, enjoying a topless run in the Arabic sun.
However fans were quick to notice the similarities to a previous post from UFC star McGregor, with one writing: "Conor did it first." Another agreed: "Acting like Conor again." One fan was surprised by the snap, adding: "Considering he hates Conor McGregor, he wants to be him so bad."
A fan also accused Paul of being McGregor's fan, writing: "Fanboy! The man was a fanboy. He bought t-shirts of mine." Another added: "Copy my homework but just change it up a little." Another accused Paul of having an ulterior motive, concluding: "You take that McGregor pattern. The same kind of training, the same kind of picture. I see what you are doing."
Fury is expected to be the toughest test of Paul's short career given he is the first opponent with a natural background in the sport. Any victory will be his seventh as a professional and could set him up for bigger things, which he has stated his intentions to achieve during press events.

In yesterday's press conference, Paul was left fuming by Fury's absence which was later explained as 'personal matters', but the YouTuber has insisted he will make his rival pay on the night. He said: "It's why this fight is called, 'The Truth', because the truth is going to come out. He's going to have to pay for all of the times he's pulled out.
"All of the business people he screwed over, it's disrespectful. There's some of the biggest names in boxing, the biggest promoters and most influential people in the world. One of the greatest countries in the world and he doesn't want to show up because of a 'private matter'. We all have private matters.
"When you sign up to do something, you make a commitment, that's what it should be about. It just shows me he's scared because he said he didn't need to train for this fight. Meanwhile, his first excuse was that he needed to train extra, but now it's a private matter. I love Tyson but it's typical from the dad [John] and Tommy."
