Jake Paul makes Conor McGregor fight offer to UFC president Dana White

Jake Paul has offered to fight Conor McGregor in the UFC - and will donate his purse to the promotion's lowest-paid fighters if he loses.

Paul has long coveted a clash with McGregor in the boxing ring having established a record of 5-0 as a professional.

But he has upped the stakes in his long-running row with UFC president Dana White by making him a new offer.

Paul wrote on Twitter: "Dana - Since you like me now, how about a one-fight UFC deal to fight Conor.

"If I win, you agree to my UFC fighter pay and healthcare proposal. If I lose I donate my entire purse to all UFC fighters who make less than $50K a fight and never mention UFC again. Deal?"

Paul has taken it upon himself to be an advocate for improved fighter pay in the UFC.

He believes White's fighters are underpaid and made the promotion's top dog a previous offer in which he promised to retire from boxing and fight UFC star Jorge Masvidal if White increased UFC fighter pay, guaranteed them 50 per cent of revenue and provide them with long-term healthcare.

He later reduced his demands to 40 per cent but White refused to engage with the YouTube star.

Paul then turned his attention to promoting stablemate Amanda Serrano's undisputed clash with Katie Taylor which takes place on April 30 in New York.

But he and McGregor have renewed their rivalry in recent days after the Irishman returned to training.

McGregor has been rehabilitating the broken leg he suffered in his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier last summer but pulled on a pair of boxing gloves for a pad session last week.

Paul was quick to criticise his rival's technique as "embarrassing" before McGregor responded by calling the social media star a "jackass".

Paul has no mixed martial arts experience to speak of but did wrestle in high school and has insisted he will make the switch from the ring to the cage.

But a bout with McGregor in the UFC is highly unlikely to take place with the 25-year-old's best chance of facing the Dubliner being in a boxing ring when McGregor's UFC contract expires.
