Jake Paul has challenged Floyd Mayweather to a "real fight" after the boxing legend confronted him following a basketball game.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul and Mayweather were in attendance to watch Miami Heat lose to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday evening and had a brief run-in outside the Miami-Dade Arena after the game. Mayweather could be seen alongside his large entourage, with Paul - who was visibly concerned - "running away" from the situation.
'The Problem Child' has tried to lure Mayweather out of retirement to settle their differences in the ring as he tweeted to the boxing legend: "Floyd will not see me 1 on 1 in a real fight. That’s a fact. His team has hit my team numerous times to do one of his 'exhibitions'. Now he ambushes me. Come see me in the ring, real fight, no exhibition robbing fans bull****."
Mayweather has been on an exhibition tour since retiring from professional boxing with a flawless record of 50-0 five years ago. 'Money' fought Paul's brother, Logan, in an un-scored fight two years ago and he clashed with the younger sibling before the fight in a scuffle that left the YouTuber-turned-boxer with a black eye. Mayweather wanted to "kill" Paul after he stole his hat and ran away with it.
Paul explained his side of the confrontation by saying: "I'm at the Miami Heat game and Floyd Mayweather and 50 dudes pull up out of nowhere. Out of some like side alley waiting for me outside of the stadium. They’re like ‘What’s up, what’s all that talk now!’ I’m like, first of all, ‘What did I say to you Floyd? I just took your hat and you’re still mad about it?’

“Come on, bro. Then 50 dudes literally start surrounding me trying to jump me. I’m out of that b****. Floyd, you want to run it one on one, no problem. But I’m not dumb. I’m tough. I don’t need to prove my toughness but I’m not f****** dumb. I’m not going to sit there and try to fight 50 dudes. Dipped out of that b****. Floyd, you’re a h** bro. You’re mad cause I took your f****** hat, are you serious? Get over it, bro. Move on.”
Mayweather and Paul were in action last month as the former five-weight world champion went eight rounds with Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers in his latest exhibition fight. Meanwhile, Paul suffered the first defeat of his professional career at the hands of bitter rival Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia.
