Jake Paul hits out at Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr for "costing him millions"

Jake Paul has been left to count the cost of his cancelled fight with Hasim Rahman Jr after the YouTube star pulled the plug a week before the first bell.

Paul drafted in Rahman Jr as a replacement opponent for Tommy Fury after the brother of heavyweight legend Tyson was banned from flying to the United States. But last night Paul was forced to cancel next weekend's event altogether when he alleged Rahman Jr had refused to cut down to either 200lb or 205lb.

The fight had initially been made at the cruiserweight limit but Paul agreed to increase it when Rahman lost only one pound in the first three weeks of his training camp. Paul then claims Rahman said he would weigh in at 215lb, forcing the social media star to cancel the Madison Square Garden card.

And Paul took to social media to reveal he and his team have lost millions of dollars in recent weeks. "All jokes aside I can't believe how much of a b**** Hasim is and how stupid he is for ruining the biggest opportunity and the biggest payday that he will ever get in his life," he wrote. "For anyone who is thinking about getting Hasim to fight on any of your cards, do yourself a big favour and don't.

"Him and his team are the most unprofessional people any of us have ever worked with. A nightmare. Between him and Tommy they have cost me and my partners millions and millions of dollars."

Rahman hit back at Paul in a lengthy video during which he claimed he was shocked that Paul cancelled the fight without allowing him the final week to lose weight. "I would have beat this man up with one hand like I did in the gym, but let him tell it he already beat my a** in the gym when I was 230lb," he added. "So if you beat me up when I was 230lb, what's the problem fighting me when I'm 215lb or 210lb?

"It's clearly them not wanting to fight, it's not me pulling out. I never said I didn't want this fight, the only thing I can conclude is that they're scared. They tried to drain me down, I told them I wouldn't be able to get all the way down to cruiserweight, it was an astronomical feat from the beginning."
