Jake Paul hits out at Salt Bae while also taking swipe at long-time rival KSI

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has declared that he now has found someone whom he dislikes more than KSI, namely controversial restaurateur 'Salt Bae'.

The American has a feud with KSI dating back to early 2018, which has included a number of fight call-outs as well as watching the Brit beat his older brother, Logan, in a boxing match. But he seems to have found another adversary in viral sensation Nusret Gokce, who has been showing up at major sporting events, most notably handling the World Cup after Argentina's win over France in the final.

Gokce broke FIFA rules when he took to the pitch and held the World Cup alongside a number of Argentina players, drawing outrage around the world. Paul is the latest celebrity to take issue with the chef's actions, using social media to express his annoyance at seeing him around various sporting events.

Paul shared a photo of Gokce with an emotional and injured Mohamed Salah after the latter was forced out of the Champions League final for Liverpool back in 2018, which also saw his hopes of making a major impact at that summer's World Cup dashed. Further, he posted the infamous picture of the chef with Lionel Messi at the World Cup final.

Paul captioned the pictures: "This dude has been disrespecting GOATs way too long. I may have found someone who annoys me more than KSI." The American is known as a massive Liverpool fan, saying on multiple occasions that Salah is his favourite player, and recently declared Messi the best athlete to ever live.

"Hard to admit as an American but Messi may be the greatest athlete ever," Paul wrote while watching the World Cup final. "5’7, 148lb. Greatest non-penalty scorer of all time, greatest assister of all time. In a sport that has more people playing it than any other. GAOAT. Agree? Muhammad Ali still the most impactful though."

Paul is preparing for his ring return, which is touted for February, while KSI is just days away from his next bout against Bellator MMA star Dillon Danis at Wembley Arena. Paul has had his own differences with Danis but has a much longer-standing rivalry with KSI after years of back-and-forth feuding.

The pair are in talks about a contest towards the end of next year, but both men are expected to fight prior to that being made official. Paul recently snuck a jibe about KSI into a message criticising fighter pay, writing in response to the UFC increasing their pay-per-view price in America to $80 that Danis was "fighting a YouTuber".

After reading about the latest price hike from MMA's top promotion, Paul tweeted: "Meanwhile a bum whose claim to fame is being Conor [McGregor]’s friend is making a bigger purse to box a YouTuber than all current UFC champions. UFC makes almost $500million a year. If they were to increase minimum fighter pay to $50,000 per fight, at most it will cost them $20m."
