Jake Paul has presented Tommy Fury with a gift for his new daughter Bambi to apologise for making the announcement online before the couple could.
Tommy, who welcomed his daughter into the world in January with partner Molly-Mae Hague, is due to fight boxer-turned-YouTuber Jake in Saudi Arabia in just a few days.
They appeared together at a press conference on Thursday evening, during which they had to be separated following a physical clash.
The Mirror reports that the boxing rivals then sat down together for an interview and Jake surprised Tommy with a box containing a present for Bambi.
He was heavily criticised for supposedly 'leaking' the news of Bambi's birth on social media before Molly or Tommy could do it themselves.
However he apologised for his actions and hoped that the present would make it up to the couple.
"I apologise actually for leaking your baby's announcement, I honestly didn't mean to say that before," Paul told Fury. "That's what I'm saying, I just want to say that I didn't mean to leak that announcement. I've actually got a gift for Bambi, this is like a really nice designer baby brand."
Tommy downplayed Jake leaking their baby's birth whilst the American tried to apologise for his actions, stating: "This guy is all the way overseas and he's putting out a statement, so are 20 million other people. He doesn't know anything about our private life. Me and Molly both looked at that like 'okay, sweet'."
When Jake revealed the big present, Tommy seemed to soften up as he said: "Well thank you very much, I'm sure she [Molly] will appreciate it." Tommy's dad, John, then showed his appreciation for the gift by gate crashing the interview to shake Jake's hand, as he said: "Let me shake this man's hand, because you've gone up one million per cent in my estimation. May the best man win, appreciate it, may the best man win mate. Good lad."
Tommy and Jake will battle it out in a big fight on Sunday February 26, and the YouTuber has warned that Tommy's dad, brother Tyson or Bambi won't be able to help him out.
Bookies have Paul as a considerable betting favourite in the grudge fight, but that hasn't stopped heavyweight champion Tyson from betting £100,000 on his brother to stop Paul inside the distance.
