Jake Paul 'devastated' after breaking up with girlfriend Julia Rose

Jake Paul has reportedly been left "devastated" by his break-up with model Julia Rose.

YouTube star turned boxer Paul has been dating Julia for more than two years and has previously hinted that the pair were engaged to be married.

But last month he tweeted: "Alexa play "I'm single" by Jake Paul ", a nod to the voice service which can play music tracks on demand, hinting that their relationship was over.

The 25-year-old quickly deleted the tweet but gossip website Page Six reports that he is indeed single and that he has been left heartbroken.

A source told the website: "He would like to get back together with her and maybe they will, but they both need to slow down their lives."

Paul began dating Julia following his fake marriage to social media star Tana Mongeau.

The ceremony was aired as a pay-per-view event costing $50 but the couple did not have a marriage certificate and the wedding was not valid.

They broke up in early 2020 and Paul began dating Julia soon after.

Their relationship has coincided with the boxer's unbeaten start to his professional boxing career which now stands at 5-0.

He first beat fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib before stopping ex-NBA star Nate Robinson and former UFC stand-out Ben Askren.

Paul then outpointed former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley before a fight with Tommy Fury, brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson, fell through.

Paul took on Woodley for a second time last December and knocked his rival out in the sixth round.

He is currently taking a break from the ring to promote stablemate Amanda Serrano's undisputed fight with Katie Taylor and is expected to return in the autumn.

Paul could revisit his bout with Fury who will fight on the undercard of Tyson's clash with Dillian Whyte at Wembley on April 23.

But Paul could also target former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr whom he has previously called out.

In the longer term, the 25-year-old has set his sights on clashes with UFC legends Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.
