Jake Paul declares he could beat Anderson Silva and Floyd Mayweather in one night

Jake Paul has claimed he could beat Floyd Mayweather and Anderson Silva in one night after watching the pair fight in separate exhibition bouts in Abu Dhabi.

Mayweather dropped and dominated his former sparring partner Don Moore despite his opponent managing to cling on and survive the eight round distance. Paul was unimpressed with the legendary 50-0 fighter's performance, taking to social media to react and make a bold claim. He said: "I would beat Floyd and Anderson in the same night."

Paul is preparing for his own ring return later this summer, with August 13 the currently touted date for the event. He could face a number of different opponents, including Tommy Fury, Sonny Bill Williams or Anderson Silva, who fought on the Mayweather-Moore undercard.

Silva dominated Bruno Machado in the co-main event of the evening, with the fight a routine affair for Silva who produced a slick display in his latest exhibition. He also dropped his fellow countryman which caused the YouTube star to produced a fight call-out just minutes after the performance.

Paul had previously indicated that he may be interested in fighting Mayweather, after his brother Logan went the distance with him last summer. There is a massive weight disparity between the legendary fighter, who weighed in at 150lb tonight and 155lb last summer, and the Pauls who are known to weigh around 190lb.

" Floyd Mayweather, Oscar De La Hoya, Anderson Silva, Michael Bisping, Tommy Fury, Sonny [Bill] Williams out of Australia," Paul told THE FIGHT with Teddy Atlas about who his next opponent could be last month. "There's a lot of people on the hit list and some other names that we're talking to. Just trying to pick the biggest opponent.

"Everyone I've fought I've carried the promotion, nobody has matched my star power so I'm looking for someone who can match my star power - we might fight in Australia, America or the UAE. Oscar, if you're watching this man get off the couch and start training because we can make this happen."

However, it appears that the bout likely won't happen due to the weight difference that cost Mayweather a win in his bout with the elder Paul. He landed countless clean strikes on the YouTuber and would have easily won a judges' decision had there been officials in attendance, but was unable to drop him or finish the fight over eight rounds due to the weight difference.

Paul claims that he has no interest in exhibition bouts, and would only fight Mayweather if there were professional rules, and it counted on their records. But neither man has ever weighed in anywhere close to a weight that would be feasible for them both to compete, and as such it can't happen.

They had a physical altercation at the pre-fight launch press conference for Mayweather's bout with Logan, that saw the legendary boxer punch the younger Paul brother. There had been a brief threat that he would be banned from the Miami fight night as a result, but he was ultimately allowed to attend.
