Jake Paul has teased a knockout win over Anderson Silva by customising his fight gloves with the letters "zzz".
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, 25, faces the toughest challenge of his new-found boxing career in UFC legend Silva, who has impressed fans since crossing over to the ring. 'The Problem Child' has knocked out every professional opponent he's faced, but those wins have came against limited competition in fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, NBA star Nate Robinson and former MMA champions Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
The American is aiming to maintain his knockout record against 47-year-old Silva, who was finished in his final UFC outing two years ago. Paul weighed in at a career-low weight of 186.5lb for the fight whilst 'The Spider' stepped on the scale slightly lower at 186.1lb.
Moments after weighing in, Paul tested out his custom fight gloves and is clearly confident in his chances to sleep Silva as the letters "zzz" were printed on his right glove. "They don't like this, the sleepy time [glove]," Paul said while trying on the gloves.
Paul has faced criticism for facing 47-year-old Silva given the huge age gap between the pair, with fans calling for the YouTuber to fight a 'real boxer' instead of a former MMA champion. Paul is tired of the criticism he receives and think fans will always find a way to bash him no matter what he does.
"People want to discredit anything that I do and the potential fact that I can win, they want to take that away from me before I even do it," Paul said.

"They are undermining Anderson which I find super disrespectful because he's the greatest of all time. That p***es me off a little bit, but that's how critics are. My teammate said to me the other day that if Jake Paul was walking on water, the [critics] would say he doesn't know how to swim."
Silva opened as a favourite against Paul but is now closing as a considerable underdog a day away from the fight. The UFC legend said: "People like to talk and say things, but Jake and I are working hard to make a good show for everybody.
"Of course it's a competition, he has 50 per cent and I have 50 per cent. When I go inside [the ring] Jake and I are both going to do our best, that's the more important thing for us. People don't understand how hard he and I are working."
