Jake Paul Anticipates A Fight With Viddal Riley.

Following his achievement of his first professional boxing victory this weekend at Orlando, Florida’s Caribe Royale Resort on Friday evening, Jake Paul defeated Andre August via knockout in the opening round, and is now aiming for a fight with Viddal Riley.

Paul (8-1, 5 KOs)  was excited about the possibility of facing Viddal Riley(10-0, 6 KOs) in his post-match press conference. Riley is a professional cruiserweight who is currently unbeaten and holds the English title. Riley a 26-year old boxer from England trained YouTube personality KSI.

“For sure that can happen. That would be interesting and he has a name, a profile and that’s something that excites me for sure. As I go down this path I’m going to continue to challenge myself and grow and grow and grow and some of those names start popping into the equation,” said Paul in media reports.

Paul, 26, from Cleveland, Ohio,  is a well-known figure on social media, started out boxing against other YouTubers. Six of Paul’s fights were crossover bouts against former mixed martial arts competitors and his first defeat came via decision against Tommy Fury(10-0, 4KOs), the brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, in his sixth fight.

Despite losing a decision to Fury in February, he is still trying to establish his boxing credentials, and he saw August’s knockout victory as a positive step in that regard.

“It’s surreal. I’m trying to take in the whole entire moment and have fun during this whole entire experience. I think this [one-round victory] is the best one. Calling it the whole entire week, not getting hit one time in the fight and just setting him up for that,” said Paul.

“I think self-belief’s a weird thing. You set a super high goal for yourself and you see the vision but there’s ups and downs throughout getting there. Sometimes you are discouraged, you fall down, you fall flat on your face. You’re like: ‘What am I doing? Is this all worth is? Is this what I’m supposed to be doing?’,” he added.

“It’s just believing in yourself, and I don’t know if I pictured it that good, but I do be manifesting the knockouts,” he continued.
