Jake Paul believes that controversial kick-boxing world champion Andrew Tate will not make a return to the ring for a boxing match with he or his brother Logan.
Tate has claimed that he would be willing to fight Logan for free, slamming the elder Paul brother for his statements about refusing to platform him with a high-profile fight. The YouTuber is planning to return to the ring in search of his first win on January 14, with the kick-boxer one of his most highly-touted opponents.
There have also been talks between Tate and Jake's team, including a meeting in Croatia where Nakisa Bidarian; Paul's manager and business partner, sat down with he and his brother Tristan. However, that appears not to have been fruitful as yet, with the former world champion telling Mirror Fighting that he's looking at Logan more than Jake.
"I don't think Andrew Tate should be banned," Jake said during a recent episode of his show BS with Jake Paul. "I think freedom of speech is super important and I think private companies should give people like him a second chance. But I don't think he ever gets into the ring and risks his alpha male appearance to fight me or Logan. Andrew Tate, you're scared to get into the ring with one of us."
He then called his brother's podcast co-host Mike Majlak, who Tate has referred to as his "girlfriend" in interviews. Majlak has been relatively impartial on the Tate issue, and believes that he should be given further chances online to provide his views, so long as he changes his approach.
"He clearly has gotten in the ring in the past and done a pretty good job with it," Majlak said in a phone call with Paul. "But I can't imagine that he would fight you or Logan. I think a lot of the stuff that he's doing right now is to continue a storyline that I'm not so sure he's ready to back up.

"He's claimed a lot of stuff that we were huge fans before he was banned, none of us [the crew of Impaulsive] were ever fans, we never have said anything good about his approach. I also don't hate him or think that everything he says is inaccurate or incorrect, I think he has a lot of good takes.
"I definitely don't think that he should be perma-banned. I think just like everybody else they should get a second chance once he adjusts his approach. Because right now the world is not ready for Andrew Tate the way he presents himself, only Rumble and other fringe sites are ready for that approach. But he does have a lot of good s*** to say, he needs to work on how he says it."
Tate has claimed that Majlak and Paul were fans of his before his ban, but the YouTuber questioned that idea, adding: "I challenge people if anyone can provide one instance of me, or George [Janko, Impaulsive co-host] or Logan saying that we're a fan of his work or anything that he says specifically. I do have a cash offer for anyone who's able to provide that evidence."
