BENGALURU: Mumbai batsmen, who gained enough practice against Uttarakhand in the Ranji Trophy quarterfinals last week, put it to good use against Uttar Pradesh in the semifinal.
On the opening day at the Just Cricket ground here on Tuesday, Mumbai benefited from the Uttar Pradesh fielders’ largesse and some timely knocks, including Yashasvi Jaiswal’s century (100, 227b, 15x4), to post 260/5 in 87 overs when stumps were drawn.
