Jaire Alexander might just be a prophet.
The Pro Bowl Packers cornerback set quite the scene for his media scrum with reporters in the Green Bay locker room Friday, wearing a massive chain on his chest, white goggles on his face and a WWE championship belt draped over his shoulder.
And he didn’t disappoint.
Speaking about Green Bay’s recent three-game winning streak, the sixth-year pro patted himself on the back for a prediction he apparently made prior to the team’s turnaround. Alexander won’t go as far to call himself a prophet, but the Packers standout told reporters he predicted the team would “win out,” per Ryan Wood of USA Today.

It’s been a tough season on the field for Alexander, who has been limited to five games due to a shoulder injury. So the Packers star hasn’t yet been able to back up his bold prediction personally, but his team certainly has been making him look good.
Buoyed by the improved play of quarterback Jordan Love, Green Bay (6—6) seems like it’s poised to make a playoff push in the NFC.
Although it might not be quite the same as ex-Packers QB Aaron Rodgers famously telling panicking fans to relax, then running the table en route to the playoffs back in 2014, fans certainly will remember Alexander’s prediction if the Packers make a run to the postseason.
The Packers play at the Giants (4–8) at 8:15 p.m. ET Monday.
