Jair Tavares has boosted his Hibs confidence with goal contributions in a 2-2 development match draw with Dundee United.
The Hibees have entered into the rebooted Reserve League this season and played out their maiden match at HTC on Tuesday afternoon. Their recruit from Benfica in the summer transfer window netted once and provided the assist for an own goal in the match but was cancelled out from making either of them winners for the capital club.
It was a strong XI fielded as all involved look to make an impression for starting matches at Premiership level under manager Lee Johnson. Ryan Schofield has arrived on a season-long loan deal from Huddersfield Town to challenge David Marshall for the number one spot and the goalkeeper started this one, with fellow new signing Lewis Miller starting at right-back. He is continuing to adjust to Scottish football after a spell at Central Coast Mariners in Australian's A-League came to an end in the summer.

2016 Scottish Cup heroes Lewis Stevenson and Darren McGregor also started in defence alongside young centre-back Kyle McClelland.
Gambian attacker Momodou Bojang was the other senior player used by Hibs during the four-goal training ground match.
Next up in the league for Hibs is a trip to Tannadice and Dundee United, who are still without a manager after firing ex-Easter Road boss Jack Ross.
