Jailed SP MLA Nahid Hasan’s associate surrenders in Uttar Pradesh

SHAMLI: Six months after Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Nahid Hasan was arrested and jailed on January 15, 2022 under Gangsters Act by Uttar Pradesh police, one of his alleged associates surrendered himself at Kairana police station on Friday. He is one among the 40 accused under the Gangsters Act, said SP Shamli Abhishek.

According to the police, Mohammad Arif, a resident of Ramda village, was wanted in the case under the Gangsters Act.
