Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Monday announced a "Jail Bharo Andolan" at Mumbai's Shivaji Park on October 2, a day after saying police had denied permission for the outfit's planned protest at the venue.

Dipke confirmed the plan in a brief post on X on Monday. "Jail Bharo Andolan in Mumbai. October 2, Shivaji Park. #SaveDemocracy"
