The critics were out in force when the Detroit Lions drafted Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs with the 12th pick in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft.
It took until Week 8 for Gibbs to erupt on the scene and he did in a huge way against the Las Vegas Raiders.
A 27-yard touchdown run by the rookie gave the Lions a 23-14 lead in the third quarter.
