Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones exited a Week 5 game against the Buffalo Bills with a knee injury, the team announced.
Jones, 28, limped off the field during the third quarter and was evaluated in the medical tent before the Jaguars announced he was questionable to return.
Buy Jaguars TicketsThe veteran receiver missed the Jaguars’ Week 3 and 4 games after suffering a knee sprain against the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this season. In his return to the lineup, Jones had three receptions against the Bills for 23 yards prior to his departure, including an impressive 6-yard touchdown grab in the back of the end zone.
Jones, who was drafted by the Bills in 2017, has two touchdown receptions this year and finished the 2022 season with five touchdowns.
Jaguars receiver Calvin Ridley also briefly exited the game Sunday, but returned after he was evaluated for a concussion and cleared. Through three quarters, Ridley has five receptions for 70 yards.
