The Jaguars and Texans each enter Week 4 with more than a handful of players on their injury reports, with a combined 11 players limited in Wednesday’s practice and another six who did not participate.
Find Jacksonville and Houston’s initial Week 4 injury reports below.
Jacksonville Jaguars
- RB Tank Bigsby (shoulder) — limited
- WR Gabe Davis (shoulder) — limited
- OL Cam Robinson (knee) — limited
- OL Anton Harrison (knee) — limited
- CB Jarrian Jones (shoulder) — limited
- CB Montaric Brown (chest) — limited
- S Darnell Savage Jr. (quadriceps) — limited
- TE Evan Engram (hamstring) — did not participate
- LB Foyesade Oluokun (foot) — did not participate
Analysis: The Jaguars are not expected to have starting linebacker Foyesade Oluokun available for “several weeks” after he suffered a foot injury against the Bills in Week 3.
All eyes are on tight end Evan Engram and safety Darnell Savage Jr. this week as each player has missed Jacksonville’s last two games hurt. Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson was optimistic Tuesday about the chances of Savage playing Sunday.
Cornerback Montaric Brown was the only player on Jacksonville’s Wednesday report with a previously unknown injury. Brown has started the last two weeks in place of Tyson Campbell, who is on the Jaguars’ injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
Houston Texans
- TE Dalton Schultz (ankle) — limited
- OL Kenyon Green (illness) — limited
- OL Jarrett Patterson (calf) — limited
- S Jimmie Ward (groin) — limited
- RB Joe Mixon (ankle) — did not participate
- RB Dameon Pierce (hamstring) — did not participate
- WR Tank Dell (chest) — did not participate
- DT Folorunso Fatukasi — did not participate
Analysis: Three of the four Texans who did not practice Wednesday are starters: Running back Joe Mixon, wide receiver Tank Dell and (former Jaguars) defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi.
Neither Mixon nor backup running back Dameon Pierce, also on the Wednesday injury report, played in Week 3.
