The brunt of the offseason is in the books and training camp is still off on the horizon. Join us in the NFL’s dead zone with a player-by-player review of the Jaguars roster ahead of the 2023 season.
The Jacksonville Jaguars addressed their backfield in free agency by re-signing JaMycal Hasty and adding former Cleveland Browns running back D’Ernest Johnson. Then the team took it a step further when it scooped up Tank Bigsby in the second day of the 2023 NFL draft.
Bigsby, who stands 6’0, 213 pounds, was a source of stability for Auburn during a rough stretch in recent seasons with multiple coaches. Despite plenty of opportunity to play elsewhere, Bigsby stayed loyal to the Tigers rather than enter the transfer portal.
Now he’ll join a talented Jaguars backfield with a lot of mouths to feed.

Quote: “It got me ready for adversity. A lot of guys don’t go through adversity in college. Everything is smooth. We had a lot of bumps in our roads. I feel like when adversity comes in the league, it’ll be something I can overcame because of the adversity I went through.” – Bigsby on his collegiate career
