The Jacksonville Jaguars made big changes at offensive tackle during the offseason, allowing starting right tackle Jawaan Taylor to walk in free agency and replacing him with first-round pick Anton Harrison. Furthermore, a suspension for left tackle Cam Robinson has put a microscope on Walker Little, who appears primed to be the long-term solution as Trevor Lawrence’s blindside blocker.
All that attention on the starting lineup has made an intriguing battle for the other spots on the depth chart fly under the radar.
Chandler Brewer was one of two veteran free agents, along with Josh Wells, who was signed by the Jaguars to address depth.
The former Los Angeles Rams tackle, who overcame non-Hodgkin lymphoma in college, has 13 career games and four starts under his belt.
Contract (2023): $1.01 million base salary, $50,000 signing bonus, $52,500 roster bonus, $1,112,500 cap hit.
Acquired: Jaguars signed Brewer in free agency on April 5, 2023.
