As many as 100 redundancies could be made at Jaguar Land Rover's Halewood plant.
A note sent to staff at the plant today announced that a voluntary redundancy programme would be welcoming applications from members of certain teams.
The message, sent by the plant's human resources department, said the VR programme is open to Halewood associates including Stamping colleagues but not including Halewood maintenance employees or associate apprentices.
