Jaguar driver filmed accelerating away after crashing into house leaving scene of chaos

This is the moment a driver fled the scene after crashing into a Swansea house causing significant damage amidst a scene of chaos. A Jaguar driver smashed their car through a garden fence and into a woman's house at Brynteg Road in Gorseinon, just after 8pm on Thursday, March 2, leaving a huge chunk missing.

The driver also knocked the resident's car through a dividing wall and into her next door neighbour's garden. Video footage has now emerged showing the dramatic moment the driver reversed out of the damage they had caused and drove away from the scene at speed.

It captures the sounds of the wheels of the car screeching and crunching over rubble and other debris in the driveway, back onto the main road, as those living nearby yell: "What are you doing?", whilst one woman calls for the driver's number plate to be noted. As the car disappears, those living in the area are left dumbfounded over what they have witnessed.

The resident living at the home worst affected by the incident declined to comment, but her next door neighbour, Sam Jenkins, explained how he witnessed the incident after hearing a noise outside his house. He explained: "At 8pm there was a loud bang, I went outside and as I got out the door I could already see the bright lights and hear revving.

"The adjoining wall was up at this point but you could see something going on behind it. As I got up I started shouting: 'What are you doing?' The driver has then taken the wall out, sped up around a pillar and sped away up Brynteg Road. From there, I called the police. The neighbours were out on the street. We found a broken number plate that had been left behind, and police pieced it together and then went. My initial reaction was just shock. All the street were out helping our neighbour."
