NAGPUR: Soon after crossing the under-16 age group, Jagjot Singh Sasan made a promising entry into the senior group with a century for Indian Gymkhana in the Dorairajan Trophy, a tournament considered as an audition for VCA pre-season senior camp. After such a commanding innings, allrounder Jagjot has become a vital cog in Vidarbha's under-19 scheme of things.
In the last couple of years, the 18-year-old, with his stroke play and off spin, has become a crisis man, who can hit the ball deep into the stands. Last season, Jagjot was one of the prime reasons Vidarbha played in the Cooch Behar Trophy quarterfinals.
