Bobby Brazier, the son of Big Brother star Jade Goody, is to join the cast of EastEnders. In the BBC soap opera he will play Freddie Slater, the son of Maureen 'Little Mo' Slater (previously played by Kacey Ainsworth).
The role marks Bobby's first foray into acting having worked as a model over the last couple of years. He has started filming on EastEnders and his first scenes are set to air in the autumn. He joins returning cast member Shane Richie in new executive producer Chris Clenshaw's vision for the popular programme. You can read more about Shane's return as Alfie Moon here.
A bundle of energy and a truckload of trouble, Freddie Slater has been described as having "a heart of gold but can’t help getting himself into mischief". While Freddie is sweet like his mum he certainly isn’t shy and manages to cause a stir wherever he goes.
