Jacques O'Neill was missing from the Love Island reunion as the rest of the cast filmed the special episode earlier this week, with sources claiming he still 'wasn't ready' to see Paige Thorne again.
Jacques went into the latest series of the hit ITV show at the end of week one, shocking ex Gemma Owen with his late arrival in the villa. While some viewers predicted he and Gemma would rekindle their romance, it was Paige who Jacques expressed a clear interest in from get-go.
As sparks flew between the pair, bookies even had them down as potential winners at one point, before things took a turn for the worse after Casa Amor and Adam Collard's shock return to Love Island. Jacques bid an emotional goodbye to Paige and the rest of the Islanders just a day after Adam's entrance and then had to watch Paige get close to the Newcastle gym owner once he returned home.

Both Paige and Adam joined other cast members like winners Ekin-Su and Davide and runners up Gemma and Luca at the Love Island reunion, but Jacques was nowhere to be seen. It's understood that cast members aren't forced to attend and the decision on whether they go is left up to them.
A source told The Sun : "‘Unfortunately, Jacques has decided he’s just not ready to see Paige quite yet and especially not with Adam.
"He’s made the decision to wait for a more suitable moment to talk to her again after everything he’s been through."
Jacques choosing not to go to the Love Island reunion comes as he'd been linked to Casa Amor bombshell Mary Bedford, after the pair were photographed together at an event last week, before Jacques shared a photo from inside her house.
